Catholic school; 6th grade; a wonderful teacher whom brought Central America alive in a mythical sense: Ecuador. Funny; can't remember her name, nor the exact content. All that remains is storied legend.
They look at me,
Now they have found me in the crowd
As a perpetual being, as spirit projected astral tyranny
As Night Terror, as Plague, as Pestilence and Fear
The inhuman manifestation of Demonic Ego
Tearing from the past, ripping at my soul
They claw at the sky and reach out to strangle
After meeting the spark of all that carnal animal past
Why should I leave with my sanity intact?
Tear stigma mind with bare hands - thorns grow out from scars - revitalized through own suffering
Taken in the dead of the night - A bond in blood and a pact with death - start the
growth process
Your cries for us, our pleasure - Your torment I treasure - Staring down at your
sweaty faces
Behold the unconscious, from the midst of cold days
Further down, put self consciousness aside
Behold the kings of the liars, empty basins reflects the mirror
No more trembling glorified
¨I do not count the hours I spend
In wandering by the sea;
The forest is my loyal friend,
Like God it useth me.¨
¨Oblivion here thy wisdom is,
Thy thrift, the sleep of cares;
For a proud idleness like this
Crowns all thy mean affairs.¨
about
Taking inspiration from several bloody muses, we present this new single which deals with personal feelings of anger, anxiety, mental illness and fear of the fragility and banality of life itself -a constant battle between our own minds and the (un)known micro and macrocosmos.
Musically, it ranges from varied types of blasting darkness to almost ritualistic slowness, ending in cathartic synth ambience that dissipates all preceding pain.

Jordan Vauvert
If “atmospheric black metal” implies majestic comedowns and dramatic dynamics, this powerhouse instead constitutes anti-atmospheric black metal. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 23, 2021

compared to the remastered version released one year after this original version I really enjoyed this one more as it is raw with an aggressive to desperate voice. would love to hear that on tape ... 𝕺𝖛 𝕾𝖔𝖗𝖗𝖔𝖜
